FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of biotechnology, namely to the creation of a new fused protein containing polyphemusine I polypeptide of L Polyphemus and modified GroEL chaperone of T.thermophilys microorganism. New protein is modified methionine-free GroEL protein, which is stable, is not subjected to proteolysis, contains, in an encoding part between Ser199 and Tyr201 codons, a polylinker, and polyphemusine I polypeptide fused to it in the polylinker area, which is highly expressed in a host cell.
EFFECT: new protein can be used in the pharmaceutical industry to obtain isolated stabled proteins, biosynthesis of which is difficult or not possible, or their physical and chemical properties do not allow one to isolate and obtain synthesized proteins in the purified and active form.
