FIELD: transportation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of transportation of long cargo, in particular to methods for loading and unloading railway rails. Three identical rail gripping devices are attached to the rail head. The devices are made of metal and contain a base and two legs. The legs are made in the form of an elongated sheet of metal and equipped with stops in the form of a stationary cylindrical part. One of the legs is movable. The distance between the tabs is greater than the width of the rail head, and the distance between the stops is less. Two rail grippers are installed along the edges of the rail, and one in the middle. The extreme devices are connected by a piece of cable, and the cable first runs through one block in the block body. Then it goes around the block attached to the rail gripper located in the middle of the rail. Then the cable passes through the second block located in the block body. Next, the cable is attached to the second rail gripper. The body of the blocks is made in the form of a U-shaped sheet of metal. Two identical blocks are movably placed in the side walls of the sheet, the axes of rotation of the blocks are parallel. When loading and unloading, the body of the blocks is lifted by the load gripping ring. The rope between the rail grippers is tensioned evenly.
EFFECT: deformation and deflection of the rail is prevented.
