FIELD: medicine; maxillofacial; plastic and reconstructive surgery.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to predict invasive treatment of hypertrophic scars. A histological study is carried out to determine the reaction of inflammation, angiogenesis and an immunohistochemical study of scar tissue, the values of TGF-b, MMP1, type III K are detected, and based on these indicators, a conclusion is made about the effectiveness of invasive treatment.
EFFECT: method allows to increase the accuracy of prediction, to select the most optimal method of treatment, to reduce the duration of treatment by evaluating the totality of determined parameters of scar tissue.
