SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely oncology, and can be used to treat locally common malignant neoplasms of the nasopharynx. Before chemoradiotherapy, superselective X-ray endovascular chemoembolization of tumor vessels is performed using HepaSphere microspheres saturated with doxorubicin. 21 days after superselective chemoembolization, adjuvant conformal remote radiotherapy is performed simultaneously on the nasopharyngeal tumor area at a total focal dose of 66-70 Gy and a single focal dose of 2 Gy in combination with chemotherapy with cisplatin at a dose of 75 mg /m² and 5-fluorouracil at a dose of 750 mg /m².

EFFECT: method provides reduction in traumatism, morbidity, the share of absolute contraindications to radiation therapy and the proportion of degree 3 to 5 complications, an increase in overall and relapse-free survival, quality of life and local control over the tumor process by performing superselective X-ray endovascular chemoembolization of tumor vessels using microspheres saturated with an antitumor drug.
