SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, to vascular surgery, in particular to phlebology. Prior to cyanoacrylate obliteration, a radiofrequency catheter with a heating element is inserted into the lumen of the vein and set 2.0 cm below the saphenofemoral/saphenopliteal fistula. Then, on a vein with a length of 7-10 cm, radiofrequency obliteration is performed. Then the radiofrequency catheter with the heating element is removed. A catheter filled with glue is inserted into the lumen of the vein to the previously obliterated area and cyanoacrylate obliteration is performed.

EFFECT: method allows excluding the ingress of glue into the deep venous bed, reducing the risk of embolization of the pulmonary artery and its branches with glue fragments, the development of glue-induced deep vein thrombosis due to thermal filling of the initial section of the vein, reducing the amount of anesthetic used, achieving the absence of the formation of a long stump of the vein trunk after surgery due to an indent of 2 cm from the saphenofemoral/saphenopliteal fistulas, which reduces the risk of recurrence of the disease.
