FIELD: cleaning.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the chemical and paint and varnish industry and is intended for intensifying production processes executed at alkyd resin synthesis units. In the production of alkyd resins, heat exchanger tubes accumulate deposits of phthalic anhydride. Cleaning, i.e., washing of tubular condenser heat exchangers, is performed by pumping the reaction mass at a temperature of 220 to 240°C through the inter-tube space of the condenser heat exchangers for an hour, allowing all the tubes and contents thereof to be warmed up, followed by washing off the entire reaction mass into the reactor. To implement the method, the unit for cleaning condenser heat exchangers from deposited phthalic anhydride is equipped with additional jumpers. The unit is equipped with additional tubular jumpers with gates between the reaction mass circulation pipeline and the jackets of the condenser heat exchangers, the jumpers are equipped with sliding gates at the inlet and outlet. The reaction mass at a temperature of 220 to 240°C enters the jackets, heats the tubes, and melts the phthalic anhydride deposited therein. The molten phthalic anhydride is washed out by the reaction mass supplied through the tubes as a washing liquid through the additional tubular bridges, followed by being washed off into the reactor and processed. The entire washing process is implemented without disassembling or cooling the unit, without stopping the production process, by redistributing the flow of the reaction mass by means of controlling the flow by means of the sliding gates placed on the jumpers, additionally installed between the reaction mass circulation pipeline and the jackets of the condenser heat exchangers.
EFFECT: complete cleaning is performed, since everything deposited in the tubes is returned to the reactor and reprocessed.
