FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a method for conducting a hydroformylation reaction, including following stages: bringing of olefin, hydrogen and carbon monoxide into contact in the presence of a homogenous catalyst in a vertically-oriented cylindric reactor to obtain reaction liquid, where the cylindric reactor has a fixed height, and where, to liquid in the cylindrical reactor, total mixing energy is supplied of at least 0.5 kW/m3; removal of a part of reaction liquid from the cylindric reactor and return of at least part of removed reaction liquid to the cylindric reactor, where returned reaction liquid is introduced to at least two return places located at a height that is less than 80% of the given fixed height of the reactor, where at least two return places are located above a place in the reactor, where, to the reactor, hydrogen and carbon monoxide are introduced, and where at least 15% of mixing energy is provided by returned reaction liquid.
EFFECT: proposed invention provides for highly dispersed and even distribution of synthesis gas and distribution of a temperature in the reactor, as well as maintains the control of the reactor temperature at acceptable energy use.
