FIELD: hydroformylation.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a process for improving the controllability of rhodium in a continuous liquid recycle hydroformylation process. This method includes the following steps: bringing into contact in the reaction zone of the reagents, including mixed C8 olefins and/or mixed C9 olefins, hydrogen and carbon monoxide, in the presence of a catalyst containing rhodium and monoorganophosphite ligand, to form a reaction liquid, and the reaction liquid is introduced into an absorbent gas evaporator to produce a product stream and an evaporator tails stream, wherein the evaporator tails stream contains at least 1.2 wt % C8 internal olefins or at least 1.3 wt % C9 internal olefins.
EFFECT: creation of a method for continuous hydroformylation with liquid recirculation, which improves the controllability of rhodium, especially in the hydroformylation of C8 olefins or higher olefins using highly active rhodium-monoorganophosphite catalysts.
