FIELD: mining.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to cutting assemblies of a machine for rock excavation and to a machine for rock excavation. A cutting assembly contains a boom and a cutting device. The boom installed on a frame contains the first and the second parts. The first part contains the first and the second structures with the possibility of sliding relatively to each other. The second part contains the first element connected with the possibility of rotation to the second structure and the second element connected with the possibility of rotation to the first element by means of a universal hinge. The second part additionally contains a set of displacement elements connected between the first element and the second element. The boom additionally contains the first hydraulic actuating mechanism for turning the first element relatively to the first part and the second hydraulic actuating mechanism for actuating the second element to a sliding movement relatively to the first part. The cutting device is installed on the second element.
EFFECT: increase in the efficiency of rock destruction.
