FIELD: construction industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to construction and can be used to increase the heaving protection properties of studs as part of the stud foundation of buildings and structures for various purposes located in territories characterized by the spread of soils capable of exhibiting heaving properties. A method for increasing the heaving protection properties of a stud includes applying a polymer shell to the outer surface of the stud, forming an anchor section along the length of the stud intended for immersion in soil layers that are not subject to seasonal freezing, by creating irregularities on the outer surface and an anti-heaving section intended for placement to the depth of soil freezing. The polymer shell is a binding material, before its hardening, a material forming surface roughness is applied to the anchor section of the stud as irregularities.
EFFECT: reducing the complexity of manufacturing studs with increased heaving protection properties while eliminating restrictions on the materials of the studs used.
