The method for molding blanks of refractory ceramic products includes preparing a molding mixture based on corundum and mullite of different fractions, molding the blank by pouring the mixture into a gypsum mold when exposed to vibration, holding it in the mold until the molding mixture is completely solidified, removing the blank from the mold and drying it. Before pouring the molding mixture, the plaster mold is passivated by dipping into distilled water with exposure in water for 0.5-4.0 min and then in air for 2.0-8.0 min.

EFFECT: improving the surface quality of blanks of refractory ceramic products, equal density of the material along the thickness of their walls, eliminating cracks and cracks on the surface of products and reducing rejects of finished products.
