NANOFUNCTIONALISED SUBSTRATE AND METHOD FOR PRODUCTION THEREOF Russian patent published in 2022 - IPC B01J37/08 B01J32/00 B01J35/04 B01J37/02 B01J21/06 B01J27/24 B01D53/86

Abstract RU 2763759 C2

FIELD: filtration.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of apparatuses for reducing the content of polluting substances in a gaseous mixture. Described is a method (10) for producing a nanofunctionalised substrate (1), including the following stages: conducting synthesis (11) of an aqueous suspension of nanoparticles of titanium dioxide in the anatase phase, with sizes in the range from 30 to 50 nm by means of the reaction of titanium alkoxide in water in the presence of a mineral acid and a non-ionic surface-active substance at a temperature from 45 to 55°C and reaction time from 12 to 72 hours; adding (12) a nitrogen-containing doping agent selected from the group consisting of diethanolamine, diammonium citrate, tetrabutylammonium hydroxide, and triethanolamine, to said suspension, resulting in a suspension of nanoparticles and the nitrogen-containing doping agent; applying (13) said suspension onto the work surface (2), forming a coating (3) from photocatalytic nanoparticles, resulting in a nanofunctionalised substrate (1), wherein said working surface (2) has a honeycomb structure defining multiple channels suitable for passage of a gaseous mixture, and is characterised by the number of cells per square inch from 40 to 120; conducting (14) a heating cycle of said nanofunctionalised substrate (1), wherein the heating cycle is conducted by heating the nanofunctionalised substrate (1) to a temperature of 490°C to 510°C and the duration of the heating cycle is in the range from 2 to 11 hours.

EFFECT: creation of a nanofunctionalised substrate suitable, in particular, for installation in an air filter for the purpose of reducing the content of polluting substances.
