FIELD: tobacco industry.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to an aerosol generating system and an aerosol generating device. The aerosol generating system contains the aerosol generating device containing the first receiving chamber and the second receiving chamber. The first receiving chamber and the second receiving chamber are located next to each other in a device case. The first rod containing solid substrate is located in the first receiving chamber, and the second rod containing solid substrate is located in the second receiving chamber. At least the first and/or the second receiving chamber contains a heater for heating the first and/or the second rod containing solid substrate, placed in the corresponding receiving chamber.
EFFECT: possibility of separate or parallel use of any of rods containing solid substrate by means of a single mouthpiece is provided.
