FIELD: audio data processing.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to representation of sound reproduction data, in particular, for such reproducing media as sound reproduction systems for cinematography. The process of "tuning" for the representing audio data includes reception of the location data of the reproducing speakers and pre-calculation of the amplification coefficient values for each virtual source in accordance with the location data of the reproducing speakers and each virtual source location. The amplification coefficient values are stored in the memory and used during the "working cycle" wherein the acoustic reproduction data is represented for the speakers of the reproducing medium. During the working cycle, contributions from the virtual source locations within the area or volume defined by the location data of the acoustic object and the size data of the acoustic object are calculated for each acoustic object. The set of amplification coefficient values for each output channel of the reproducing medium is calculated based on at least partially calculated contributions. Each output channel can correspond to at least one reproducing speaker of the reproducing medium.
EFFECT: improvement of the methods and apparatuses for representing sound reproduction data. In the claimed group of inventions, multiple locations of virtual sources are determined by the volume wherein acoustic objects move within said volume.
