SUBSTANCE: invention relates to continuous casting of steel. A device for feeding and mixing steel in a vertical mold (4) of a continuous casting installation contains a closed-bottom immersion cup (2) with outlet windows (3) mounted on a filling ladle (1). A refractory mantle (5) with vertical ribs (6) connected to a mechanism (8) of its forced rotation is installed on the outer surface of the closed-bottom immersion cup above its outlet windows with a gap. Due to the possibility of regulating the rotation speed of the mantle, the uniformity of the structure of the continuously cast ingot increases.

EFFECT: simplification of the design of the mixing device, simplification of its installation and dismantling is provided.
