FIELD: steel casting.

SUBSTANCE: device for feeding and mixing steel in the mold of a continuous casting plant containing a casting ladle (1) and a vertical crystallizer (5), consists of a direct-flow submersible nozzle (2) installed on the casting ladle, and a closed-bottom nozzle (3) with outlet windows (4). The closed-bottom nozzle is made of a square cross-section and is installed with a gap on the direct-flow submerged nozzle with the possibility of rotation relative to it. The outlet windows are made symmetrical, which contributes to the creation of a reactive force that rotates the dead-bottomed glass around the direct-flow glass when the steel exits the closed-bottom nozzle into the mold.

EFFECT: homogeneous structure of the resulting ingot is ensured due to the possibility of intensifying the mixing of steel while excluding its emissions into the slag area.
