SUBSTANCE: invention relates to continuous casting of steel. A device for feeding and mixing steel in the mold of a continuous casting unit having a casting ladle (1) and a vertical mold (3) contains a direct-flow immersion cup (2) mounted on the casting ladle and refractory ceramic cylinders (4). The refractory ceramic cylinders (4) are installed in a vertical mold (3) under a direct-flow immersion cup (2) and contain longitudinal blades (5). During continuous casting, the mentioned cylinders rotate under the action of a jet of liquid steel coming to them from a direct-flow immersion cup, and the steel entering the mold is mixed with its blades, which makes it possible to increase the uniformity of the structure of the continuously cast ingot.

EFFECT: simplification of the design of the mixing device, its installation and disassembly is provided.
