FIELD: steel casting.

SUBSTANCE: device for feeding and mixing steel in vertical mould (4) of a continuous casting installation contains closed-bottomed submersible nozzle (2) with outlet windows (3), installed on casting ladle (1), and submersible refractory screws (5). Immersion refractory screws are installed on the wide edge of the crystallizer symmetrically from the closed-bottomed ladle and are equipped with individual mechanisms for forced rotation and movement in the vertical direction. Due to individual drive (6) for rotation and movement of the screws in the vertical direction, regulation of the intensity of mixing and the depth of installation of the screws in the mould is ensured, which makes it possible to eliminate the throw of liquid steel into the slag area during mixing.

EFFECT: obtaining a homogeneous fine-grained structure of a continuous ingot drawn from the crystallizer.
