FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the continuous steel casting. Proposed device comprises direct-flow submersible barrel (2) arranged on teeming ladle (1) and hollow-cup (3) fitted with clearance on straight-flow immersion barrel to revolve therefrom. Bottom-hole shell is made of ceramics, which makes it possible to keep it afloat in liquid steel in crystallizer (6). There are curved outlet openings (4) directed along the generatrix of the blind hole in the horizontal section in the hollow-bell barrel. At liquid steel outlet from the blind hole into the vertical crystallizer a reactive force is created, which rotates the blind hole around the direct flow submersible cup. Liquid steel jets coming out of the windows change their direction in the horizontal plane and facilitate intensive mixing of the steel in the crystalliser, which enables to obtain a homogeneous structure of the crystallising steel.
EFFECT: simplified design and higher environmental safety.
