FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy, in particular to the continuous casting of steel. The device comprises a direct-flow submersible nozzle mounted on a pouring ladle, under which a horizontal plate is installed over the entire cross-sectional area of the mold, having multidirectional holes randomly located over its entire surface.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to increase the homogeneity of the structure of a continuous ingot, due to the uniformity of the liquid metal entering the mold along the horizontal section.
