SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a method for manufacturing a roll containing a set of turns of a layered sheet, and directly to such a roll. The method for manufacturing a roll containing a set of turns of a layered sheet includes following stages: providing a continuous sheet of material containing alkaloids having a free surface; providing a continuous sheet of the first protective material having a free surface; gluing the free surface of the continuous sheet of the first protective material with the free surface of the continuous sheet of material containing alkaloids to form a continuous layered sheet containing at least one layer of material containing alkaloids and at least one layer of the first protective material, wherein the specified at least one layer of material containing alkaloids and the specified at least one layer of the first protective material determine a gluing surface between them; supplying the specified layered sheet to a rotating central core; rotating the central core in such a way that to wind the continuous layered sheet around it to form the specified roll containing a set of turns of a continuous layered sheet containing at least one layer of material containing alkaloids and at least one layer of the first protective material.
EFFECT: continuous, constant and regular supply of homogenized tobacco material is provided, so that the rest of the production line can increase overall productivity, while ensuring easy storage, transportation and unwinding of a roll from a sheet of material containing alkaloids, such as homogenized tobacco material.
