FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to solutions of thyroid hormone T4. Set for treating diseases associated with a deficiency of the hormone T3 and/or T4 includes a pharmaceutical product of the thyroid hormone T4 in a ready-to-use package, consisting of a container pre-filled with an alcohol-free water-glycerin solution of the hormone T4, wherein the solution comprises no pH-correcting agents, wherein the container is selected from: (a) a container made of a single-component LDPE plastic, located in a sealed sachet with a total thickness of 40 to 100 mcm, consisting of layered films made of polyethylene, aluminium, and polyethylene terephthalate; (b) a container made of a multi-component layered plastic, wherein the container has multiple layers of plastic materials selected from: polyethylene, ethylene and vinyl alcohol copolymer resins, polyvinyl chloride, polyvinylidene chloride; polyvinyl acetate, fluorinated-chlorinated resins, ionomer resins, cycloolefinic copolymers, polyamide, polystyrene, polycarbonate, clad metals, and aluminium bound to plastic materials; wherein a plastic container specified in (a) and/or (b) has a thickness of from 150 to 1,000 mcm.

EFFECT: invention provides highly stable solutions of the thyroid hormone T4 with a reduced amount of the impurity T3.
