FIELD: cosmetic industry.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a cosmetic composition. The cosmetic composition comprises 70 wt.% up to 99.9 wt.% of a cosmetically acceptable base composition containing an oil phase; 0.1 wt.% to 30 wt.% of at least one polyhydroxyalkanoate (PHA) in the form of particles with an average diameter (d50) from 0.1 mcm to 100 mcm; the percentages are expressed in relation to the total weight of the composition; wherein the PHA particles are produced by the spraying process by spray drying an aqueous suspension of PHA. Also disclosed is an application of the cosmetic composition for producing a cosmetic product.
EFFECT: group of inventions provides excellent fluidity properties and reduced oiliness - minimisation of the oily effect and absorption of excess sebum.
