FIELD: imaging.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to imaging systems. Disclosed is an imaging system for a rotating centrifuge bowl, containing: an imaging unit configured to obtain a sequence of images of the tapering part of a rotating centrifuge bowl, wherein the imaging unit includes a lens and an image sensor; the lens, the image sensor, and the tapering part of the rotating centrifuge bowl are oriented and located according to the Scheimpflug principle; a light source directed at the rotating centrifuge bowl; a synchroniser configured to track the rotational position of the rotating centrifuge bowl, and a controller communicating with the imaging unit, the light source, and the synchroniser, and configured to control the operation of at least one of the imaging unit and/or the light source, based on the rotational position of the rotating centrifuge bowl so that each of the sequence of images is obtained in the same rotational position of the rotating centrifuge bowl. Also disclosed is an imaging system for a blood processing apparatus with a centrifuge bowl.
EFFECT: group of inventions provides a possibility of focusing the entire tapering part, which in turn allows the system to better display the interface, determine the correctness of installation/alignment of the bowl, recording information about the bowl.
