SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, in particular to clinical laboratory diagnostics, medical microbiology, obstetrics and gynecology. A method for predicting recurrences of bacterial vaginosis (BV) is proposed. The vaginal biotope is examined by real-time PCR using a set of reagents DNA-sorb-AM. The DNA concentrations of Gardnerella vaginalis genotypes 1, 2, 4 are determined. The probability of developing BV is calculated using the following formulas: Z=-12.58+0.49×X1+1.04×X2+0.95×X3+0.78×X4, Y=-3.32-0.26×X1-0.04×X2+0,03×X3+1.46×X4, where Z is the likelihood of recurrent BV; Y is the probability that recurrent BV will not develop. At Z>Y, the development of BV relapses is predicted with a probability of 84%. With Z<Y, with a 95% probability, recurrent BV will not develop.

EFFECT: invention provides the development of a method for predicting recurrent BV with a high degree of prediction accuracy.
