FIELD: transport machine building.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to motor transport. Method of tire control includes translational movement of tool (23, 25) to tire located on support plane so that it rests on measuring surface (M). Measuring surface is a part of annular surface (31). Further, the measuring surface is pressed by means of tool (23, 25) to the specified height of the tool. Then tire (3) is turned relative to tool (23, 25) so that tool sequentially contacts multiple different measuring surfaces (M). Further, the force (F) applied by tool (23, 25) to the plurality of measuring surfaces in the plurality of angular positions of the tire and the tool relative to each other is measured during a complete turn, and determining whether the tire has a defect based on the measured force (F).
EFFECT: reduction of time and improvement of quality of tire inspection.
