FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medical equipment, namely to a device for recanalisation of total occlusion of blood vessels and/or re-entry from one lumen into another lumen, including without limitation re-entry into the true lumen of the blood vessel from the extra-luminal or subintimal space of the vessel. Catheter device for passing through an occlusion in blood vessels or re-entering a true lumen of a blood vessel comprises a catheter shaft, a handle and a needle. Catheter rod comprises a distal end of the catheter. Handle is connected to a proximal portion of the catheter shaft. Needle passes through the lumen in the catheter shaft and the distal end of the catheter. Needle comprises a first straight portion connected to a handle, a curved portion extending in the distal direction from the first straight portion, a second straight portion extending in the distal direction from the curved portion, and a sharp end at the most distal end of the needle.

EFFECT: invention has many applications, such as, without limitation, recanalisation of solid occlusion, recanalisation of solid curved or spiral occlusion, recanalisation of total occlusion, recanalisation of intra-stent restenosis, stent graft puncturing in order to provide blood flow in lateral vessels, re-entry into the true lumen during PTA (percutaneous transluminal angioplasty), PTCA (percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty) and any other percutaneous or other placement of the catheter between two adjacent layers of vessels, arteries, soft tissue or any other human tissue.
