SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to aircrafts and systems for stopping flights by means of forming holes in sheathing. A method for stopping flight of a vehicle includes, among other things, receiving a flight stopping signal, initiating penetration device fuel, and promoting a throwable plate. The plate penetrates the sheathing and one or more load-bearing structures of a fuel tank of the vehicle. The penetration device contains a shell, fuel placed in the shell, and a throwable plate with variable rigidity. The throwable plate is connected to the shell and adjacent to fuel. The throwable plate contains a central part with essentially constant first thickness and a peripheral part placed around the central part and forming an edge. The peripheral part contains one or more recesses on the first surface of the peripheral part.

EFFECT: reduction in size and weight of the device is achieved.
