FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to ophthalmology. Anesthesia is performed, a blepharostat is applied, the sight of the patient is directed in the direction opposite to the meridian of the assumed scleral puncture for intravitreal introduction of medicinal substances. The eyeball is fixed behind the episclera, the angiogenesis inhibitor is introduced intravitreally through a tunnel stepwise access 4 mm from the limbus. Short-term scleropression is performed at the site of perforation. Manipulative paracentesis is therein performed at 3 o'clock after applying the blepharostat. Pressure is then applied to the lower part of the paracentesis until intraocular pressure is reduced to normal, and after scleropression at the site of scleral puncture for intravitreal introduction of the angiogenesis inhibitor, the anterior chamber of the eye is restored by means of saline solution to the normal tone thereof.

EFFECT: method allows for a reduction in the intraocular pressure after intravitreal introduction of medicinal substances in neovascular glaucoma with intraocular pressure above 30 mm Hg. against the background of proliferative diabetic and/or post-thrombotic retinopathy and, accordingly, reduction in the probability of occurrence of pain syndrome and corneal edema, increase in the effectiveness of the treatment, and reduction in the risk of postoperative complications.
