FIELD: medicine, ophthalmology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to ophthalmology. Intraocular pressure is reduced 7-10 days after intravitreal introduction of the angiogenesis inhibitor. Transscleral cyclophotocoagulation of the ciliary body is performed. After that, 3 weeks later, cataract phacoemulsification is performed, and after completion of cataract phacoemulsification, repeated intravitreal introduction of an angiogenesis inhibitor is performed.
EFFECT: method makes it possible to increase the effectiveness of the treatment performed due to the complexity of treatment, including the performance of transscleral cyclophotocoagulation of the ciliary body to reduce intraocular pressure and double administration of an angiogenesis inhibitor before and after treatment.
