FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of machine building, namely to methods of studying the coefficient of friction of lubricants of different composition. Device contains a movable shaft on which a guide bushing, a guide conical bushing, a counterbody in the form of a conical bushing, a guide cylindrical bushing, an indenter, linear bearings, guide screws are located. On the movable shaft there is a lubricating process medium (LPM) supply ring with a nozzle installed in it for the possibility of LPM supply in a sprayed state. In the movable shaft there is a channel for supply of LPM to the contact zone of the indenter and the counterbody; also, to prevent rotation of the LPM supply ring and the sleeve, a plate is provided, which is installed on the end of the LPM supply ring, which is kinematically connected to the fixed base. Measurement of torque values is carried out using an electronic dynamometer kinematically connected to the guide bushing. To reduce friction forces, linear bearings are installed on the movable shaft between the guide cylindrical and guide bushings. Device additionally comprises a tank for LPM, in which there are nozzles fixed on the cover and connected to the compressed gas supply channels by means of unions, gas mix injectors and gas ionizer are arranged in compressed gas feed channels.
EFFECT: high accuracy of determining coefficient of friction of lubricating materials, versatility of replacement of tested samples, possibility of bubbling LPM, possibility of investigating the effect of ionized gas on change in the friction coefficient of lubricating materials.
