FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of determining the state of food products and relates to a computer-implemented method for determining the state of readiness and quality of food products. Method includes steps of obtaining a food odor profile on a computing device by processing a signal received from at least three sensors. In addition, image data from a camera for tracking spectral characteristics of food products is received on the computing device. Data obtained from at least three sensors and from the camera are combined and processed using image recognition algorithms and machine learning to determine the state of readiness of products and/or spoilage of products.
EFFECT: improvement of accuracy of determination of state of readiness and/or quality of food products.
