FIELD: communication technologies.
SUBSTANCE: method for transmission rate control contains stages, at which: the second aggregate maximum bit rate of user equipment (hereinafter – UE-AMBR) and a channel type of the secondary base station are received from the main base station using the secondary base station. In this case, the second UE-AMBR is determined using the main base station in accordance with UE-AMBR received from a base network. Depending on the implementation of the main base station, the second UE-AMBR is less than or equal to UE-AMBR. The transmission rate of a terminal device is controlled using the secondary base station based on the second UE-AMBR and the channel type of the secondary base station.
EFFECT: control of data transmission rate between each base station and UE by means of allocation of the second UE-AMBR.
