SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of mechanical engineering and can be used in the manufacture of an investment casting pattern. The method for producing an investment model includes dosed supply of a waxy model material in the form of a powder with a fraction of at least 0.4 mm into a mold and rotation of the mold relative to its axis. A mold with an inner radius of at least 3 cm is used, which is rotated until it reaches 3000-4000 rpm, which is sufficient to increase the density of the model material, at which it ceases to be loose after the mold rotation stops. The mold is stopped, metal balls with a diameter of 1-12 mm are placed in it in an amount sufficient to cover the inner surface of the investment model in at least one layer, then the mold is rotated at a speed of 3500-4000 rpm. Metal balls increase the effect of centrifugal force on the model material, due to which it is compacted at a reduced speed of rotation of the mold. The spherical shape ensures uniform distribution of metal balls on the inner surface of the model.

EFFECT: elimination of shrinkage, warping of the surface and layering of the model.
