SUBSTANCE: group of inventions is claimed: an aerosol delivery device and a method for manufacturing such a device. The aerosol delivery device contains an outer case, an evaporating element placed in the outer case, a tank placed in the outer case, and a liquid transporting element wrapped in the tank so that the liquid transporting element is at least partially placed in the tank and is made with the possibility of transporting an aerosol precursor composition from the tank to the evaporating element. The liquid transporting element contains porous monolith that forms one or more channels passing at least partially through it, and it is designed so that one or more components of the aerosol delivery device are at least partially located inside one or more channels. Channels make it possible to perform a more compact structure, in which the liquid transporting element is formed in such a way that to reduce an empty space in the aerosol delivery device, while maximizing the content of liquid that is stored in the specified aerosol delivery device.

EFFECT: due to accommodating one or more components in one or more channels, space is freed up, increasing the contact area between the tank and the liquid transporting element, which contributes to improved vapor formation.
