SUBSTANCE: invention relates to biotechnology, in particular to the diagnosis of a genetic predisposition to the development of osteoarthritis of the knee joint (gonarthrosis) after a traumatic injury, and can be used in sports, predictive and personalized medicine, as well as to correct the lifestyle of patients in valeological practice. During genotyping, the polymorphism rs5743708, G2258A (Arg753Gln) of the TLR 2 (Toll-like receptor) gene is determined and the A allele and the AA and AG genotypes are detected in polymorphic loci and, if present, a high genetic predisposition to the development of post-traumatic gonarthrosis is diagnosed.

EFFECT: improvement of method for diagnosing a genetic predisposition to the development of osteoarthritis of the knee joint.
