FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to otorhinolaryngology, plastic surgery. Before lateralization of the lower nasal concha, a vertical incision is made in the vestibule of the nose in front of the head of the lower nasal concha in the projection of the edge of the pyriform opening. In this case, the length of the incision corresponds to the height of the anterior edge of the lower nasal shell, and the depth reaches the pyriform crest. Further, through the endonasal access, the bone edge of the pyriform opening is partially resected, having previously separated it subperiosteally from the front and inner sides by 9-11 mm. In this case, the volume of the resected area depends on the required degree of lateral displacement of the lower nasal concha. The height of the resection corresponds to the height of the anterior edge of the lower nasal concha.
EFFECT: method makes it possible to get a good functional result of the treatment of nasal obstruction with dysfunction of the internal nasal valve, reduce the time of surgery and the duration of the rehabilitation period.
