SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a tensioning device for tensioning a steel strip, as well as a method for regulating the roll of a steel strip and a method for manufacturing a steel strip by means of this device. The device contains a pair of infinite belts capable of rotating, upper and lower, or a pair of tracks capable of rotating, upper and lower, made with the possibility of clamping a steel strip, and capable of moving or turning in the direction of the width of the steel strip using a rotary mechanism, a compression mechanism made with the possibility of compressing a clamped section of a steel sheet using a pair of infinite belts, upper and lower, or a pair of tracks, upper and lower. Moreover, the rotary mechanism is made with the ability to move or rotate the tensioner in the direction of the width of the steel strip based on the amount of rotation and pressure balance determined in accordance with the roll of the steel strip, and the compression mechanism is made with the ability to compress the steel strip with a pressure balance to create uneven compression along the width of the steel strip to eliminate the roll of the steel strip.
