FIELD: cosmetic industry.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the field of the cosmetic industry, namely, to a hair lightening agent containing: (a) a hair treatment composition containing: monoethanolamine; at least one carboxylic acid selected from maleic acid, oxalic acid, malonic acid, malic acid, citric acid, salts and combinations thereof; and at least one solvent; wherein pH of the hair treatment composition is in the range from 2 to 4; wherein the hair treatment composition is not a hair color-changing composition; and (b) a hair conditioner composition containing: monoethanolamine; at least one carboxylic acid selected from maleic acid, oxalic acid, malonic acid, malic acid, glutaric acid, citraconic acid, citric acid, glycolic acid, succinic acid, adipic acid, tartaric acid, fumaric acid, sebacic acid, benzoic acid, salts thereof, glyoxylic acid monohydrate and combinations thereof; and at least one additive. The group of inventions also relates to hair lightening methods and to a set with several compartments for lightening hair color, wherein the specified set contains: (a) the first compartment containing a hair treatment composition containing: monoethanolamine; at least one carboxylic acid selected from maleic acid, oxalic acid, malonic acid, malic acid, citric acid, salts and combinations thereof; and at least one solvent; wherein pH of the hair treatment composition is in the range from 2 to 4; wherein the hair treatment composition is not a hair color-changing composition; (b) the second compartment containing a hair conditioner composition containing: monoethanolamine; at least one carboxylic acid selected from maleic acid, oxalic acid, malonic acid, malic acid, glutaric acid, citraconic acid, citric acid, glycolic acid, succinic acid, adipic acid, tartaric acid, fumaric acid, sebacic acid, benzoic acid, salts thereof, glyoxylic acid monohydrate and combinations thereof; and at least one additive; and (c) one or more additional compartments containing at least one hair lightening agent.

EFFECT: group of inventions provides strengthening of the hair shaft, protection of hair shafts from damage or further damage, strengthening of properties such as softness, shine, conditioning, healthy appearance, while at the same time providing desired effects such as coloring, lightening, straightening, straightening and/or shaping.
