FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely analytical chemistry, ionometry, and can be used to determine ceftriaxone in mixed saliva and blood plasma. Precipitation, removal of proteins and shaped elements, construction and determination of antibiotic concentrations according to the calibration schedule of EMF, mV, are carried out. 2 ml of biological fluid is placed in a 25 ml container, the pH is adjusted to 7-8, a selective electrode with a membrane based on an electro-active component in the form of an ion associate of ceftriaxone and octadecylamine is lowered into the solution, as well as the comparison electrode. Within one minute, the content of ceftriaxone in the test medium is determined.
EFFECT: method provides the possibility of reducing the time for determining ceftriaxone, increasing the detection interval of ceftriaxone and optimizing the metrological characteristics of the method (increasing accuracy, reducing the error in determining results) by ionometric quantitative determination of the content of the cephalosporin antibiotic ceftriaxone using a ceftriaxone-selective electrode in mixed saliva and blood plasma of the patient for one minute.
