FIELD: pharmaceutical chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: method of determining the concentration of ceftriaxone in human blood serum is disclosed, which consists of sample preparation, extraction with an organic solvent system and re-extraction of the sample with a Britton-Robinson buffer solution, followed by analysis by capillary electrophoresis, characterized in that the sample preparation is performed with a precipitant of protein substances, and ammonium sulfate is used as a precipitant crystalline at the rate of 0.1 g of crystalline ammonium sulfate per 0.1 ml of blood serum, observing the following conditions: infusion of the sample for 15 minutes; centrifugation of the sample at 6000 rpm for 5 min; separation of the supernatant without a filter by decounting; bringing the pH of the supernatant liquid to a value of 2.0 on universal indicator paper with a ten percent solution of hydrochloric acid drops.

EFFECT: invention improves the objectivity and reliability of the determination of ceftriaxone in human blood serum.
