FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering, in particular to technological equipment for the manufacture of electrical machines. The device for manufacturing the rotor of a self-braking asynchronous electric motor contains a mold made thick-walled and consisting of a hollow cylinder and a movable bottom made in the form of a disk entering a hollow cylinder along the inner diameter. Inside the mold there is an insert made removable in the form of a hollow cylinder with a through hole passing symmetrically along its longitudinal axis and having the shape of a truncated cone with the base up. The outer diameter of the insert is equal to the inner diameter of the hollow cylinder of the mold. The mold additionally contains a movable bottom, made in the form of a disk entering a hollow cylinder along the inner diameter from the side of the larger base of the through hole.
EFFECT: decrease in magnetic resistance with additional alignment of magnetic symmetry in the radial direction of the rotor with an improvement in its efficiency and active power coefficient cos φ.
