FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to electrical engineering, namely to process equipment for production of rotors self-braking asynchronous electric motors. Device for manufacture of a self-braking asynchronous motor includes a shell, which is press-mould and thick-walled with a movable bottom made up of a hollow cylinder and disk inside the cylinder along its inner diameter; inside the mold has an insert from electrical steel that is symmetrical to the longitudinal axis and is made in the form of hollow thin-walled truncated cone, its height is equal to the length of the active part of the rotor, and base diameter located at the bottom is equal to the inner diameter of the hollow cylinder mold.
EFFECT: production of rotor with axial magnetic anisotropy of the specified size.
