FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: device for manufacturing a rotor of a self-braking asynchronous electric motor having monotonously varying magnetic symmetry in the radial direction comprises a composite mould consisting of a hollow cylinder, a movable bottom in the form of a disk formed along the inner diametre of the hollow cylinder and an insert. The insert is made removable in the form of a cylinder along the inner diametre of the hollow cylinder of the mould, with a hole symmetrical along the longitudinal axis of the insert made in the form of a truncated cone with a base facing downward.
EFFECT: improving accuracy of positioning the removable insert relative to the longitudinal axis, reducing magnetic resistance and providing magnetic symmetry in the radial direction of the rotor.
