FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, specifically to ophthalmology. To class the state of ciliary zonules of eye lens, aberrometry is performed before and after cycloplegia in the central zone of pupil with the same diameter. Size of wave front aberration – horizontal trefoil and horizontal coma is determined. With an increase in the value of the horizontal trefoil and/or a decrease in the horizontal coma value by less than 150 % after cycloplegia, the state of the ciliary zonules is classed as weakened.
EFFECT: method provides an opportunity for a more accurate and simple assessment of the state of the ciliary zonules to diagnosis prediction and clinical course of myopia and estimation of treatment policy.
