SUBSTANCE: inventions group relates to medicine, namely to a method for placing a wearable device on a subject's body by means of a device for issuing instructions on the placement of a wearable device. In this case, an image of the subject's body is obtained using a camera. The resulting image is analyzed to recognize body parts of the subject and identify the part of the subject's body on which the wearable device must be placed. The part of the body on which the wearable device is to be placed is identified using a skeletal recognition method. An instruction is issued to place the wearable device on the identified part of the body. The indication contains an indication to move the device to the identified body part of the subject.
EFFECT: increased accuracy of placement of a wearable device in the correct place on the subject's body, taking into account its individual characteristics, by tracking a real physical object (body or skeleton) based on kinematic or time-related information.
