SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of organic chemistry, namely to benzimidazole derivatives of formula (I) or to a pharmaceutically acceptable salt of the said compound, where: R1 is -(CH2)m-R4 or ; R2 is halogen; R3 is F; R4 is -NH-(CH2)2-(NH)r-R5, --NH-(CHR5R6) or a group of the following formula (A): (A); -(CH2)m-, -CH2-O-CH2-, -(CH2)r-S(O)2-CH2- or -(CH2)r-NR5-CH2-, m is an integer from 1 to 3; n is 1; p is 0 and V is N; q is 0 or 1; r is 0 or 1; R5 is -SO2Me, -SO2Et or - CONH2; R6 is C1-C6 alkyl; and R7 is -SO2Me. The invention also relates to a pharmaceutical composition based on a compound of formula (I), the use of a compound of formula (I), a method for treating a subject suffering from or susceptible to RSV infection, and a method for preparing a pharmaceutically acceptable salt of a compound of formula (I).

EFFECT: novel RSV inhibitors useful for treating or preventing RSV infection are obtained.
