SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the protection of the transmission of vehicles. In the method for transmitting torque through the transmission system of a vehicle containing a clutch located between the first kinematic chain and the second kinematic chain, the speed of actuation of the second kinematic chain is regulated if it can deliver to the first kinematic chain an actual dynamic torque exceeding the detection threshold. The first state variable contains the actual dynamic torque, by closing the clutch with the transmission engaged in the gearbox connected to the second kinematic chain.
EFFECT: wear of the transmission elements is reduced.
