SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a system for controlling power train of a motor vehicle. System for controlling a power train of a motor vehicle, power train configured to deliver an engine torque to a hydraulic torque converter. Control system includes means for determining a temperature gradient of oil of hydraulic torque converter, means for estimating a curve of force of resistance to forward travel of motor vehicle depending on a practical mass of motor vehicle based on temperature gradient. System also includes means for automatic control of said torque depending on said estimation.
EFFECT: higher force cross country capacity.
