FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to medicine, namely to traumatology and orthopedics, and can be used for surgical treatment of a fracture of the surgical neck of the shoulder. The humerus fragments are repositioned, in which the T-shaped plate is fixed to the distal fragment with cortical screws through the lower holes of the plate. In this case, the proximal fragment of the humerus is fixed to the upper fragment of the T-shaped plate with one spongy screw installed in the hole of the upper fragment of the T-shaped plate, which is located at the anterior surface of the head of the shoulder. An intraosseous canal is formed along the posterior surface of the head of the humerus from top to bottom. A wire cerclage is passed through the formed channel and the free hole of the upper T-shaped fragment of the plate.
EFFECT: method provides strengthening of fixation of the proximal one while maintaining the possibility of minimizing intraoperative damage to the bone tissue in the fracture zone and the possibility of using osteosynthesis even in the osteoporotic process in the head of the humerus, where there is a risk of migration of the fragment metal fixator due to an additional spongy screw installed instead of the cerclage loop.
